Had a great session yesterday shooting a portrait of my friend Victor. I think he looks primo in this shot.

Still experimenting with my light setup in the studio but getting a better handle on shooting with white background. I prefer low key portraits, but I do like this high key image.

Lighting setup was speedlite key on the left with octagon softbox, speedlite fill on the right with smaller square softbox, back/rim light on the right was lit using speedlite with barndoors, and background was bare speedlite.

Camera is Nikon D4. Lens is Nikon 80-200 2.8 Shot at approx. 125mm.

Basic editing in Lightroom included crop, exposure, slight skin correction, and BW conversion.
