Let me first say this: I have not done any thoughtful photography in a while. Just hasn't been inspired lately.

So, when one night I came out of the house and saw the fog and the light coming through the trees, I immediately thought about making a photo.

It was very moody and dark and I thought it would make a great photo. I love atmospheric shots.

Now, this version was taken on my iPhone6, zoomed in, so forgive me for the poor quality. I also took one with my Nikon D4. I will post it when I process that image.

I wanted to make sure I preserved the foggy feeling, because that was the main point of the photo. I also played with composition, in order to get the exact shot I wanted.
